In the quiet suburbs of Northern Virginia, economist and cultural omnivore Tyler Cowen has created a home that mirrors his endlessly curious mind. Between stacks of books waiting to be read and walls covered with art collected from his global travels, I had the privilege of photographing one of today's most compelling thinkers in his personal space. Photographing people in their own spaces is one of my favorite things to do as a photographer – our environments tell us so much about who we are. In Tyler’s home every corner tells a story of discovery, exploration, and an unending desire to understand our world.
